Costas Stavrou was born in Klirou, a village in the province of Nicosia in 1966. He studied at the Higher Technical Institute and then at the University of Westminster in London. In 1993 he graduated as a civil engineer.

He worked as a site engineer for 12 years in the Construction and Development Department. In 2005 he created his own company Costas Ant.Stavrou Developers Ltd. Since then he has constructed block of flats and houses in Limassol.
